5th Graders Excel
at the LPS Science Fair 2007
On March 27, the annual Pfizer LPS Science Fair was held at Pershing Center. Arnold School was very well represented as 70 fifth graders participated. Eighteen of those students received a purple ribbon, the highest award presented. Arnold’s highest scoring students were Valeriya S. and Libby S. with 96 of 100 points. Grecia M. and Denise R. scored well with 95.67 of 100 points. Students may choose to present demonstrations or experiments. Some of the topics Arnold students selected to research were Solar Power, Seat Belt Safety, Burning Metals, Magnetism, Optical Illusions, Toucans and Capuchin Monkeys. Congratulations to everyone who made the effort to participate!
