Our preschoolers are investigating trees and and using the words “deciduous” & “evergreen” while discussing the characteristics of trees in our neighborhood. We’ve gone on several nature walks around Arnold to look for deciduous and evergreen trees and to look for what lives in the trees by our school. Ms. Kristine’s class named their favorite trees from our nature walks. The deciduous tree is named Steve and our evergreen tree is named Bob. In the next few weeks we will learn what grows on trees, how trees change, who takes care of trees, and what people do with wood from trees.
First grade enjoyed learning about neighborhoods, careers, and much more during Junior Achievement. Thank you Deb for volunteering in our classroom.
Arnold is holding our food drive next week Nov. 6th-Nov. 10th. Donations of non-expired, non-perishable food items will be accepted.
